Amochip Dabney

Amochip Dabney born in Washington DC, and raised primarily in Newark, New Jersey. A multi-instrumentalist (piano, keyboards, bass, and sax), composer, and producer, Amochip has over thirty albums to his credit.

He's a  2005 GRAMMY® Nominee for People of Peace (R. Carlos Nakai Quartet/Canyon Records) and a  2006 GRAMMY® Nominee for Gentle Thunders for Beyond Words which he engineered, mixed, and produced at his own Completely Bare Studio in Tucson, Arizona.

Amo has performed with a diverse variety of headliners since 1967 including Sun Ra and his Omniverse Arkestra, and Zydeco's Queen Ida.
